    I use it when I have to. I had used Hardware Profiles for different service configurations. That way, you can test out whether a service is required or not, and you can disable it, speeding up the system. I'm not afraid to edit the registry if I have clear instructions and a backup of the registry. Windows XP

On my own time, I've discovered the tools that are available for creating DVDs in Linux. I'm still quite slow at doing it, but I can create menus and convert almost any video to the NTSC MPEG-2 DVD format.-     DVD Production
  If the Internet doesn't work, I reset my router, have dealt with Ports and have used the DMZ.
I've learned to change between static and dynamic IP address assignment in order to alternatively connect through a router or connect two computers via a crossover cable.
