When student organizations come before the Student Association asking for money they can only ask for under a $1,000 dollars. If they need more than that they must ask the Student Budget Appropriations Committee (SBAC) for the money. In addition each spring SBAC decides how much money will be budgeted to each organization for the upcoming year. This money is used by everyone from the NSU hockey team to the NSU debate team.
